treasure every moment of the journey..
though the journey that you all will be embarking on might be a tough one...but persevere..and enjoy every moment of it..
i'm sure when your BIG DAY comes, you all will be very prepared for it...
and i hope that all of you wun feel disappointed at the end of it..

~every performance that you all have put up, regardless whether it is a small one or a big one, do your best!
i'm sure that the journey can be tough but with everybody's support and help, all of you will be able to shine and enjoy it..
and that after every phase of trainings and performances in life, you all will be able to stand up on greater heights and mature your thoughts..

and please...another reminder...dancers are supposed to be very disciplined..so i dun wish to see my juniors being not disciplined and make your seniors and ms chan angry okie?

Hey girls..
I was in Marina Square on Sunday for the opening ceremony thingy..
Saw Zhiyang and Teresa! xD Okay, but that's not the point.

There were a number of children performing. Dancing and singing..
And you know what? They were so full of energy! 1 of them looked like she's 6 years old. They were younger than 12 years old.

And if we compare between those little kids and Bowen Dance Club, we are far from them on energy.
The way they moved, the way the produced the energy, it's like what Ryan said.
They made me SEE music. I don't know about the other audience, but they really made me SEE music.
They were totally full out!
Very synchronised. Very energetic.
The girls were not shy about shaking their butts vigorously in front of the audiences.
You can see it in their eyes that they were really enjoying it, you can see it in their eyes that they were not embarressed about any of their moves.

Okay, I hated the singing part but the dancing was great!
I hope that we can learn from this.. And that we can all develop these together:
Thick skin, enjoy, confident.

My phone had little memory, my digicam was with my brother who didn't go to Marina Square. Otherwise, I would have recorded their performance and show too all of 'ya.

no nice skins arh. i try to design one bah. but i need to use my bro's com for photoshop..
and it's been quite some time since i designed one...
i'll design and code it when i have time
anyway, what type you all want?

iFrames/sidebar?
bright/dull?
cartoon-ish/artistic?
simple/complex?
cute fonts/graceful fonts?

i'll explain the terms lar.
iFrames = the current one we have, click on an/a image/word and it'll show entry, profile or whatsoever.
sidebar = there's 1 bar at the side which has our profile, tagboard, wishlist, etc. then a bigger bar on one side which is for our entries
bright = vibrant colours or white background, etc.
dull = black background with vibrant colours? etc.
cartoon-ish = cartoon drawings, etc.
artistic = something like the graphic we have right now for our blog
simple = simple design yet nice (duh)
complex = complicated design yet nice (duh!)
cute fonts = those fonts that give the cute cute feeling
graceful fonts = those cursive fonts, etc.

haha.. a friend of mine who does webdesigning might help me. haha.. he's quite a pro webdesigner, though he doesn't work as a webdesigner. he owns a website called qudle. don't ask me what's that.

don't know if that site is still available or not. should be lar.
his blog's design is simple, if you want that, i can do something like that, or ask him to do. haha..

by the way, if you're going to his blog, it doesn't contain his daily life stuff. it contains his thoughts about christianity stuff. he's a christian, and he thinks quite a lot about it, it'll be cheem for some though there're aren't any cheem words. hah.

okay, don't flood the tagboard with what you hope in the skin. email them to me. i'll generalise the requests then proceed to designing on the weekends. till then, yinghui, you can still look for the skins! i might finish mine in june.. 'cos of exams and stuff.. yeah.

Girls, don be disappointed if u hav not been selected for the public performance. wait for the nxt rd.esp nxt yr's syf,wan to see more participants.
As for the shortlisted ones, work hard. it's gonna be tough n tiring for the nxt few wk, bear w it, bite through it. i blieve we all can do it if we keep the faith.Jia you! hey u gals, those who can't make it for the korean hip hop, it's a pity. We had so much fun like learning isolation of the neck(can do indian dance now), learn to use our IMAGINATION also! The tcher is so friendly though there's language barrier but like wat Lilian says, use the universal language(dance) to communicate and tat solves the hen n duck problem lah.Haha. it's a real eye opener, u see different types of wu lin gao shou dancing there esp the tcher, we watch him dance n our jaws dropped. It actually inspire me to wan to dance better. Hopefully nxt time rd, more will sign up. Keep on dancing girls. Looking forward to retro concert and public performance. Yo Yo!

well... for the hiphop dance course on friday at the serangoon... not many can/want to go hor?? i know some have bible study, samantha has piano exam, sec 2s have meet-the-parents session.. hmm. if not for the meet-the-parents session, i can go for it!!! hmmph.

anyway, please take note that the performance for the retro dance thing will be on the 31st march 2006. it's an item for the launching of the performers' lab and the band studio. yar, the performers' lab has been open since the beginning of last year, but no official launch of it right? furthermore, the superintendent (the principal of the principals) will be the guest-of-honour for the launch.

it is not going to be like those traditional old old launching, just cut ribbon, eat food and blah. the launch is themed RETRO!!! and it's going to be more fun because it's not like the traditional old old way of launching! FUN FUN FUN!!! haha..

i seriously think tat many teachers in the sch are helping mi along the path of being a dancer...
e.g...mr chua for offering me to have a connection wif the NAFA pple thru him, mrs nair and of cse ms chan..u

but i'm sad to tell tat...
i might have to give up on my dreams and aspirations of becoming a dancer who dance all around the world...
becoz...i've suddenly realised wad happiness reli is...
happiness, is not having wad u wanted or studying in great schools, great courses...
but..i've come to realise tat...actually...happiness is as simple as seeing ur family being happy...
seeing pple around you being happy when they see wad u are achieving...
and fulfilling my parent's wish...

although i've juz made my promise to ms chan todae....tat i'll persevere
but i tink i'm unable to do tat anymore...
maybe until after my dad have found somebody else to replace us for his job ba...
cuz i tink he also noe tat we didn reli like doing his line of job...machinery transportation
but it was a job tat kept our whole family through these years..

i promise tat i'll still make it through..
hopefully by 25, i can be at least a part time dancer...
